  • Supplying students with examples of thoughtful, analytical questions they can ask to start a dialogue can be a great way to encourage this activity.

Arrange your curriculum so that your students are doing hands-on work as fast as possible to ensure you retain as many students as possible and keep them engaged.
Stand or sit among your students in small group settings to encourage more student-driven discussions.
